Rose Marie Greene

Rose Marie Greene, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, age 78 years, of Coxsackie, passed away on February 24, 2023, at her home. She was born on April 8, 1944, in The Bronx, N.Y. and is the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Malone) Donnelly. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her brothers Edward and also his wife her sister in law Bobbie, James Donnelly and his wife, her sister in law Diane. During Rose Marie’s lifetime, she was employed for many years as a teller at The National Bank of Coxsackie, at the Coxsackie Branch and also was the office administrator at The Mt. Moriah Ministries, which she was one of the founders and a life member of, belonging to the church for over forty years. Survivors include her loving husband William J. Greene, Sr., her daughter Doreen Seltzer and her husband Keith, her two sons William J. Greene, Jr. and his wife Adrienne and Jared Greene and his wife Virginia, her brothers Kevin Donnelly and his wife Anne and Jeremiah Donnelly and his wife Jane, ten cherished grandchildren John, Kristen, Brianna, Ashlyn, Kyle, Kaitlyn, Tyler, Madison, Ernesto and Owen and two beautiful great grandsons Noah and Isaac. She also leaves behind many friends from her church, coworkers, friends and neighbors. Rose Marie enjoyed and was very talented in making beautiful crafts, her delicious recipes which everyone enjoyed, and she was a wonderful organizer. She loved spending time with her family, and was very strong in her faith and love of God, and especially was heavily involved with the Children’s Home Ministry in Africa. Rose Marie especially loved German Shepherds and horses. At this time, arrangements for Rose Marie are private and for the family only. **UPDATED** A celebration of life will be held at The Mt. Moriah Ministries Route 9W, Glenmont, N.Y., 12077 on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. Arrangements are under the direction of The W.C. Brady’s Sons, Inc.
