Diane L. Berg Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Diane Lynn Berg Loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother Retired Communications Specialist for NYS Police Diane Berg, age 68 years, of South Cairo, NY passed away surrounded by her children on October 3, 2023. Diane was born on May 26, 1955, to the late George and Dorothylee Pine. Besides her parents, Diane was predeceased by her brother James Pine and sister Dawn Suttmeier. Diane is survived by her children Dorothylee, George and Jeffrey Berg, her grandchildren who she adored, Mykal, Cheyenne, Ryley and Tanner, her brother Eddie (Gayle) and Billy (Nancy) Pine, several nieces, and nephews. Diane has a deep affection for cooking, baking, gardening, knitting, animals and taking care of people. Most of all she loved her family and the love of her life, Raymond. Diane was a compassionate, empathetic, and resilient woman who treated the world and the people on it with kindness and love. Visitation will be held at Richards Funeral Home of the Mid-Hudson Valley, Inc., 29 Bross Street, Cairo, N.Y., 12413, on Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held the same day at the funeral home, at 3:45 P.M. with Pastor Rick Snowden of The Community Life Church in Catskill officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Diane’s memory may be made to the Friends of the Feathered and Furry Wildlife Center, 10846 Route 23A, Hunter, NY 12442.
