Elizabeth "Liz" Doyle

October 24, 1937 - May 19, 2022

Peacefully, on May 19th, 2022 with members of her family at her bedside, Elizabeth (Beslanovitz) Doyle of South Cairo, New York, passed away from a recent illness. A strong, confident woman and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.“Liz” as she was known, is survived by her daughter, Julianne Gouldsbury (John Finley), of Staatsburg, New York, and her son Anthony John Davida (Bernadette Herward Davida) of East Fishkill, New York, and her six grandchildren, Brian Philip Gouldsbury (Crystal Lugo-Gouldsbury), Allison Ann Gouldsbury Nguyen (David Nguyen), Michele Lynn Gouldsbury, Gabriella Sarah Davida, Michaela Joyce Davida and Olivia Catherine Davida and by her great-grandchild, Jackson Edwin Lugo-Gouldsbury. She’s also survived by several nieces and a nephew. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas J. Doyle, her sister Gloria Boyle (Neil Boyle) and her parents Julia Schaeffer Beslanovitz and John Beslanovitz of Manhattan, who immigrated from Austria. Liz was born on October 24th, 1937, grew up on 85th street and graduated from Julia Richman High School in 1955 in Lennox Hill, Manhattan. She raised her children in Dutchess Park, Fishkill, New York where she was a member of St. Mary’s Church. She worked for several years as a secretary and bookkeeper in Cold Spring, New York. As her friends and family know, Liz enjoyed travel, trips to the casino and was a regular Bingo enthusiast at the Catskill Elks Club. Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, May 25th, 2022 from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. at the Richards Funeral Home of the Mid-Hudson Valley, Inc., 29 Bross Street, Cairo, New York, 12413, (518) 622-9503, with a 10:30 A.M. service at the funeral home the same day.
