Linda J. Mack Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

On Sunday, December 6, 2020 Linda J. Mack passed away surrounded by her loving children at Home. Linda was born on May 10, 1948 in Catskill, NY. She grew up in Preston Hollow, graduating from Middleburgh Central School. After High School she continued to live in Preston Hollow until she met and married the love of her life, Alan Lee Mack on May 24, 1975. They made their home in East Durham where she became part of the East Durham Ladies Auxiliary as her husband Alan was a part of the Fire Company. They enjoyed their bowling trips with friends and time spent together at the Shamrock House. Once they had children she became a dedicated Mother and eventually Grandmother. Her grandchildren brought her much joy and loved to tell everyone about them. She loved to go grab lunch usually from Burger King or a coffee from Dunkin’ Donuts and sit by the Hudson River to watch the Boats and Barges usually with a grandson in tow. She leaves behind her daughter Kimberly Jackson, her husband Shawn, and Grandsons Tyler and Connor. Her son Adam Mack and his Wife Gillian. Her cousin who was her second mother, Dorothea Mickel, her brother Randy Bates, Her Niece Wanda Bates, Her nephews Jim and Chris Corrigan, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews, and friends she had made throughout the years. She was predeceased by her husband Alan in 2006. She was also predeceased by daughter Becky Mack, parents Omar And Theresa Bates, siblings Roxene Corrigan and Ronnie Bates, and nephews Paddy Corrigan and Ronald “Joey” Bates. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service on December 12th, 2020 at the Winston Cemetery, East Durham, NY at 2pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the East Durham Volunteer Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary, 2401 Route 145 East Durham, NY 12423
