Robert D. Wilsey Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Robert D. Wilsey, age 84 years, a lifetime area resident of Coxsackie, New York., passed away on June 26, 2022, at The Ghent Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Ghent, New York. He was born on February 4, 1938, in Coxsackie, New York, and is the son of the late Albert and Myra (Ames) Wilsey. Besides his parents, Robert is predeceased by his loving wife Angela D. Wilsey, who was the love of his life, who predeceased him on June 20, 2020, and also by his siblings, Robert being the last surviving sibling. Survivors include his two devoted daughters Tonya Wilsey-Carle and Doraine Wilsey, and his two beloved grandchildren Matthew Carle Jr. and Rebecca Carle. During his lifetime, Robert was employed for The Village of Coxsackie under the maintenance department, and also he was a member of The Town of Coxsackie Senior Center and The Catskill Senior Center. Robert and his wife Angela were married in 1971, enjoying 49 beautiful years of marriage. The couple enjoyed going on cruises every year for ten years, and they are undoubtedly reunited once again and are enjoying a cruise together once again. Robert enjoyed spending time with his family. He had a special love and found much enjoyment in trying to fix things, even up until recently, he found enjoyment in repairing things and he loved keeping busy.
